About Us
Labor and Management International Inc., was a home-based family business that was established in 1998. Initially, the company operated as a subcontractor of Maryland Catering in the greater Baltimore-Washington area.
Our job was to find skilled people to serve in the social gathering and hospitality industry. They include servers, bar tenders, house keeping, cooks and carvers. During that time, the main source of income of the company was a small commission based on the number of hours worked by our people.
After a few months, we started being recognized for our high quality and reliable service in Baltimore; thus, other cater companies in the area had requested our services. In 2001, the company was incorporated as a corporation. Since then, we have been growing at a compound annual growth rate of 3% between 1998 and 2006.
Currently, we employ hundreds of people a year and our diverse human resources include individuals from South, Central and North America, Eastern Europe, Caribbean and Middle East.
